Golf rounds with an Algarve feel
Last weekend was all about golf! There were two golf tournaments on the programme, both organised by Clavis International.
On Saturday, we were at this year’s MGC Trophy ‘Light’ at the Mainz Golf Club. In summery weather, nearly 150 participants took on the challenging 18-hole course. On site, our team representing the OMBRIA RESORT delighted the participants with stories of the unspoilt and diverse Algarve.
The highlight was the prize draw, in which all golfers were entered: a trip for two to the new Ombria Resort. Nobody wanted to miss out on this opportunity, but unfortunately only one person could win in the end – and there was great joy:

Just one day later, we were already on the next golf course. This time, around 70 participants competed in the Bad Homburg Town Championship and, in changeable weather, took on the course with its many water hazards and biotopes. Here, too, there was great anticipation for a trip to Portugal.
