Modern holiday properties are not a closed ecosystem.

Modern holiday properties are not a closed ecosystem.
According to the 2026 German Accommodation Barometer by Booking.com and Statista, 62 per cent of German hotels are opening up their facilities to the local population, which reinforces the ‘open resort concept’ as a driver of regional development. Hotels and resorts are transforming into genuine community hubs by making restaurants, meeting rooms, spa areas and sports facilities accessible to everyone.
This results in:
👉 additional revenue independent of the accommodation business.
👉 higher utilisation of the facilities
👉 added value for the local community.
👉 a more crisis-resilient business model for investors.
In our management concepts based on the Clavis Principle, we incorporate the Open Resort approach right from the start. Would you like to find out more? We look forward to discussing this with you!
