Villas on the cliff
Karma Kandara sits on the limestone cliffs of the Bukit peninsula near Ungasan in southern Bali. The resort combines private villas with their own pools, a spa on the cliff edge, several restaurants and a private beach club at the foot of the rock face. The architecture picks up the Balinese courtyard typology: each residence consists of several pavilions around a sheltered courtyard, built with natural stone, teak and local roofing materials.
