The resort at a glance

Tróia Resort occupies the Tróia peninsula between the Atlantic and the mouth of the Sado river, around an hour's drive south of Lisbon. Across 1,100 hectares under strict environmental protection, the resort combines apartments, townhouses and detached homes with hotels, an 18-hole golf course, a marina and a casino. It was delivered in construction phases; Clavis International handled property sales in German-speaking markets.

The Tróia peninsula lies between the Atlantic and the Sado estuary, opposite Setúbal and less than an hour's drive from Lisbon. The resort area covers 1,100 hectares; development and use are subject to strict environmental rules, with golf course and marina several kilometres apart on the same spit of land.

Golf & marina

A championship course and a harbour on the Sado

Tróia Golf opened in 1980 to a design by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and runs as an 18-hole, par-72 layout through pines and coastal vegetation along the beach. In 2019 Golf World ranked it among the ten best resort courses in continental Europe. The marina on the Sado, together with the casino and hotels, forms the resort's second focal point.

Getting there

The way to the resort

From Lisbon, it takes about an hour to reach Setúbal, and then you take the ferry to the peninsula; by road, it is about 130 km.
