Algarve update – Ombria Resort
The Ombria Resort offers a unique opportunity to purchase first-class properties in the Algarve, one of the most sought-after destinations in Europe. Update on the Viceroy Residences
The Viceroy Residences are stunning apartments designed as an investment property with a rental management service, a guaranteed net return of 5 per cent per annum for the first five years and up to 10 weeks of personal use per year. Around 60 per cent of the units have already been sold, and the resort is scheduled to open in early 2023.

Start of construction on the first Alcedo Villa
The 12 private Alcedo Villas at the Ombria Resort offer their future owners a luxurious retreat all year round, with direct views of the golf course, and can be used as either a second home or a primary residence. Even before construction began, the Ombria Resort won an award at the European Property Awards 2020–2021. The Alcedo Villas were recognised as ‘Best Residential Development’ in Portugal.
The modern villas, with their bioclimatic architecture, blend seamlessly into the surrounding natural landscape. Energy efficiency and respect for the environment were prioritised right from the planning stage. Set on spacious plots ranging from 1,700 to 3,300 m² and with total living areas between 387 m² and 569 m², these 3- to 7-bedroom villas are being built on individual plots and all feature heated swimming pools, a lift, a roof terrace, a three-car garage and large gardens. Each of the 12 Alcedo villas is being built as a turnkey property that can be tailored to the owner’s preferences.
Construction of the first bespoke luxury villa has now begun and is scheduled for completion in summer 2022. Situated on a 2,232 m² plot with a total living area of 602 m², this villa offers a connection with nature combined with a carefully curated interior, as well as 4 bedrooms.
