Right in the middle of the peak season, the NDR team visited our holiday resort, BADES HUK, to take a look behind the scenes at a holiday resort like this.

The NDR Nordreportage programme focuses on the theme of ‘holiday makers’ and provided fascinating insights behind the scenes at the reception, beach apartments, greens, the café and much more.

The team’s visit to this idyllic spot on the Baltic Sea coast shows just what it takes to ensure guests enjoy a relaxing holiday. Whether it’s caretaker Holger, receptionist Daniel, accountant and yoga expert Doreen, or the hard-working greenkeepers led by golf club manager Thorsten – they all have one thing in common: they live and love their jobs and ensure their guests enjoy a carefree stay.

“The other day, a couple told me that they’d love to stay here for good and don’t want to go home at all,” says Doreen. “I can certainly relate to that feeling – Bades Huk is a place where you want to stay! The direct feedback from guests plays a big part in that. And I’m just as delighted to drive here every morning.”
