The Bades Huk holiday resort has received an award at the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards 2023
With a score of 9.0 out of a possible 10.0, Bades Huk is one of the top destinations on the German Baltic Sea coast.
The internationally renowned booking platform Booking.com is presenting the Traveller Review Awards for the eleventh time. The awards recognise not only regions but also partner accommodation providers that stand out for their service and hospitality. This year, the Bades Huk holiday resort in Hohen Wieschendorf has received this coveted award. Year-round service, a personalised welcome and a special guest experience won over the voters.

With a score of 9.0 out of a possible 10.0, Bades Huk ranks among the top destinations on the German Baltic Sea coast. The resort opened in mid-2021 following years of hard work by its founders. Together with investor Oliver Soini from the Austrian investment boutique SOINI ASSET, Clavis International developed the concept for this location. “Our aim was to facilitate sustainable tourism in a natural setting whilst simultaneously establishing a new destination for tourism. To receive such an accolade after our first financial year makes us all proud and shows that our concept is working and the idea is catching on,” says Soini happily. Last year, the village of Hohen Wieschendorf was officially designated a tourist destination, a success driven in particular by Bades Huk’s holistic concept and the connections it fosters between holidaymakers, local residents and the community.
Holidaymakers were particularly impressed by the sense of home and the high-end facilities. Silva Eddicks, Creative Director, was responsible for the interior design. “A holiday home must be at least as beautiful as one’s own home. The feeling upon first entering the holiday accommodation should be one of tranquillity and comfort. That’s when the holiday really begins and relaxation sets in,” says Eddicks of her work in interior design.
