A recent article in the +3 magazine of the *Süddeutsche Zeitung*
The +3 magazine, which is included with the latest issue of the *Süddeutsche Zeitung*, explores, amongst other things, the cover question: ‘What does the future of travel look like?’ From hidden travel destinations and culinary discoveries, through responsible travel or even journeys of self-discovery, right through to the most basic forms of holiday, the magazine highlights trends, opinions and various perspectives. Will the future of travel be a future of added value?
“In recent years, we have observed clear trends within the holiday property sector towards a more targeted use of holiday budgets,” emphasises Hamid M. Farahmand, Managing Director of Clavis International. “More and more people seeking relaxation want a ‘value-added holiday’.” This means there are certain things that are important to them. First and foremost, infrastructure and a high-quality living environment. But the unique features of the destination – away from typical tourist hotspots – are also playing an increasingly significant role. A retreat in a privileged yet authentic setting, exclusive experiences and insights, as well as sophisticated service, are the key factors in creating a genuinely sustainable, high-quality break,” says Farahmand.
